KTZ Fx v1.0: a free invite-only TradingView indicator
There are thousands of free indicators in TradingView's public library, and most of them are abandoned the week after they are published. KTZ Fx v1.0 is different in one structural way: it is an invite-only script. That single setting changes who can use it, how it is maintained and how much you can trust what it shows. This post explains what invite-only means, why we chose it for our own indicator, and the two-minute process that puts it on your charts without paying anything.
What "invite-only" actually means on TradingView
TradingView has three kinds of published scripts. Open-source scripts show their code to everyone. Protected scripts hide the code but anyone can add them. Invite-only scripts hide the code and only work for usernames the author has placed on an access list. You find them under Indicators → Invite-only scripts, and they simply do not appear for anyone who is not on the list.
For you as a user that has three consequences. Nobody can copy the script, strip a piece out and republish a broken clone under a similar name. Updates reach you automatically, because TradingView serves the author's current version to everyone on the list. And access can be given or taken away per username, which is what lets us hand it out free without it leaking to resale sites within a week.
What KTZ Fx v1.0 is
It is the chart indicator published by the KTZ Fx team for the markets we trade, Gold and the major currency pairs first, and it is the on-chart companion to the way we read price in the Telegram community. Version 1.0 is the first public release; because it is invite-only, every improvement we publish lands on your chart the next time you open it, with nothing to reinstall.
Works on the free TradingView plan
Invite-only scripts do not require a paid TradingView subscription. The only limit is TradingView's own cap on how many indicators a free chart can hold at once. Why we do not sell it
Paid indicators create a bad incentive: the seller has to keep convincing you it works, so every chart screenshot is cherry-picked and every losing week is quiet. Ours is free and stays free, and the reason is the same as for the KTZfx Gold EA: the KTZ desk is funded by broker partnerships and by the community, not by selling tools to it. Free also means you can judge it on your own charts for as long as you like, which is the only test that matters.
How to get access in two minutes
- Find your TradingView username. It is the last part of your profile URL, tradingview.com/u/username/. Not your display name, not your email.
- Open the indicator access page, type the username and watch the green tick appear; the page checks the name against TradingView as you type, so a typo is caught before you submit.
- Tick KTZ Fx v1.0, answer the quick maths check and submit. Email and Telegram are optional.
- Access is added to your TradingView account within seconds. Open any chart, click Indicators, choose the Invite-only scripts tab on the left, and click the script.
Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed. TradingView's own permission system does the work; we just add your name to the list.
When it does not show up
- You do not see the Invite-only tab. Refresh TradingView once after access is granted. The tab only exists when at least one script is shared with you.
- Wrong username. The most common cause. Check your profile URL again; usernames are case-insensitive but must be spelled exactly.
- "Already requested". One request per username per indicator. If you had access before and it ended, the page will ask you to contact us instead of granting again; that is deliberate, and a message on Telegram sorts it out.
- Multiple TradingView accounts. Access is per username, so log in with the one you submitted.
Using it well
An indicator is a lens, not a signal service. Pair it with the risk rules we have written up: how gold needs different sizing than EURUSD, why your broker's clock is not your clock when you compare bars, and how to read results without fooling yourself. If you run our EA as well, the indicator and the bot are built from the same view of the market, which makes it easier to understand what the bot is doing on the days it does nothing.
Questions people ask before applying
Do I need a paid TradingView plan for an invite-only indicator?
No. Invite-only scripts work on the free Basic plan. TradingView only limits how many indicators a chart can hold on your plan.
Is there any payment or trial period?
No. Access is free and there is no trial timer. Access is lifetime unless a fixed period is announced on the access page.
Can I see the source code?
No. Invite-only scripts are closed source by design, which is what keeps clones and broken copies out of the library and lets updates reach everyone automatically.
I submitted the form but the script is not on my chart.
Refresh TradingView, then open Indicators and look in the Invite-only scripts tab. If it is still missing, check that you submitted the exact username from your profile URL, and message us on Telegram.
My access ended. Can I apply again?
Not through the form. Renewals are handled personally: the page will tell you to contact us, and a quick message on Telegram or WhatsApp restores it.
